Buggy - crashes quite often (about every 45 minutes of play time for me) and one race would just keep re-setting half way through and never let me finish it no matter how many times I tried. ![]() I personally also miss the old flashbacks - at least give people the option of them. No replays - this is a real shame, particularly considering the graphics. From Codemasters, Dirt 5 is the fifth game in a series of arcade-style racing games that take players off clean arenas and drop them into muddy off-roads. ![]() This is an arcade racer rather than a sim but the complete indestructibility of your car ruins the fun in some ways as you just shove your way to the front and use the barriers to get around some corners more effectively. Although in quality mode there is a hit to the frame rate when things get busy. Now uninstalled and I can't see myself playing it again. It's just not as good as Dirt 3 and after 7 hours I just got a little bored and decided to dash for the end rather than try every race. Local split-screen of up to four players on offline modes, including Career, makes DIRT 5 the perfect couch multiplayer racing game as you battle for position. It's just not as good as Dirt 3 and after 7 hours I just got a little bored Fun for a while and then gets too samey. ![]()
